Geoffrey Kashdan
Geoffrey Kashdan taught children with a variety of handicapping conditions and was a founding principal of a state school for severely handicapped children and young adults in New Jersey. He also taught certification courses for exceptional education teachers at a local college. Moving to Florida in 1986, Geoff was a learning strategist in middle schools. He is active in both the ACLU of Palm Beach County and the PBC League of Women Voters. He is the creator of Mind Odysseys. MIND ODYSSEYS is education as recreation. The lectures are similar in sophistication to The History Channel and accompanied by PowerPoint visuals. The length of presentation is approximately one hour. Fees are negotiable. Geoff has presented for GrandEdventures, Institute for Learning in Retirement , ACE Life-Long Learning at the Boynton JCC, Abby Delray, Century Village in Boca, Delray Library Lifelong Learning, The Towers at MorseLife, Mae Volen in Boca and Sinai Residence.
