Religion & Human Rights in the Age of Trump

Do humans have a responsibility to protect the well-being of other humans who are in need or in pain? According to many religions, the answer is very clearly – yes. But what is the connection between religion and human rights in the United States today? In this session, we will analyze the philosophical and religious origins of human rights and their legacy in modern America, particularly in the age of Trump.
