Nvard Chalikyan
Nvard Chalikyan is a Nonresident Fellow at the Stimson Center. Her research interests include Russian foreign policy, US-Russia relations, conflict resolution, with a focus on the South Caucasus region, as well as international security issues and international organizations. Prior to joining the Stimson Center, Nvard worked as a consultant for Russia and the United States program at the EastWest Institute (EWI), where she conducted research, wrote articles and organized events. She worked on the U.S.-Russia Military-to-Military Dialogue and on a research exploring the effects of COVID-19 on international conflict resolution and Track-2 organizations. Earlier Nvard worked at a leading think tank in Armenia, where she managed international projects and conducted research. She has also worked with international organizations and online newspapers, contributing articles and interviews with experts from Russia, the U.S., Europe and Armenia on international issues, Armenian foreign policy, Russian policies in the post-Soviet space and other topics.
